Last week, a woman who was part of what I like to call my "Greater Creative Circle" transitioned from her earthly form into what I'm sure is some seriously cosmic stardust after living for 7 years with breast cancer.
Just 36, Kelly Clark was a painter, jewelry maker, leather worker, writer, photographer, wife, dog-mama, friend to everyone, (& a zillion other things) and lived each day more fully than most of us do in a lifetime. To say she was magic would be an understatement, and I feel lucky to have known her - and to own some of her amazing work.
My heart has been heavy this week, and at the same time I am determined not to let her passing be in vain. I am motivated more than ever not to let fear get in the way of my dreams. Or money, or low-self-esteem, or any of the other many things that I have let stop me in the past.
Life is beautiful, and Life is short - and while the sentiment is usually stated in reference to material possessions, here's the deal: You can't take your dreams and goals with you either! Now is the Time!
Today is a new day. Take some time to think about your dreams and what you can do next to get closer to achieving them. Embrace your fear, play the game of "what's the worst thing that could happen?", do some journaling, make some lists, draw a bubble-map of next steps . . .
I have committed to doing one thing each day (for at least the next 40 and hopefully more!) to help me move toward some long-held (& long-hidden) goals.
What about you? Will you show up differently this week/month/year? You are blessed to be here and the world needs your gifts . . . Let us see you!
Love & Light,
